For decades, organizations have focused on optimizing every other element of work: input goods, suppliers, distribution chains, customer service, and individual task efficiencies. Team Design is now the frontier of optimization, one that can serve as a sustainable competitive advantage because cultures, from one organization to another, are not easily reproducible. You can clone a business model or an app, you can’t (yet) clone people and relationships.

In our 2-day Bootcamp, our Team Designers at NOBL will equip you with everything you need to know to form and lead a high performing team. Moreover, you'll gain inspiration and concrete new ways of working from organizations like Amazon, Medium, Warby Parker, Etsy, Facebook, and Apple.

Curriculum
 

In our Bootcamps, we provide practical skills in forming, aligning, operating, and measuring high performing teams. Our goal is to turn you loose to have an immediate and measurable impact on your team. 

You'll Learn:

  • The factors and forces changing teams and organizations
  • Leading edge new practices from the world's most high-performing teams
  • The spectrum of existing teaming models 
  • The six critical elements of any team
  • The best practices of change management

You'll Develop:

  1. A scorecard for your team based on fluid vs fixed models of teaming
  2. A starter team manual, including vision, mission, values
  3. A communication and action plan to immediately integrate new changes within your team(s)

What to Know:

  • Each day starts at 10am and ends at 5pm
  • Coffee served in the morning (starting at 9:30am), lunch served midday
  • No laptops or other materials required from participants
  • A print and digital companion book will be distributed to all participants
  • Attendance also earns you access to our private Slack channel for former Bootcampers

Bud Caddell, Founder

Bud Caddell is the Founder of NOBL and has been focused on systems design for over 15 years. Bud was undeniably born a nerd and by the time he was 10 was developing software, and at 17 was the lead engineer at a Venture-backed startup. 

His career path ultimately led him to management consulting and digital strategy. Bud went on to be named "one of the most creative people under 30" by Business Insider. AdWeek listed Bud among the top 50 industry professionals of 2012, and The Guardian named him as one of ten digital strategists to watch in 2012. Prior to NOBL Collective, Bud was a partner at the management and strategic consultancy, Undercurrent, heading its Los Angeles office. He also served as SVP of Digital Strategy and Innovation at Deutsch LA.
